New Canaan Library To Host LinkedIn Boot Camp

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A LinkedIn expert is coming to the New Canaan Library.

A special "LinkedInBootCamp" will teach residents how to effectively use their LinkedIn profiles at the New Canaan Library.

Carpl McManus, "The LinkedIn Lady", is hosting a special session called "LinkedInBootcamp" at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at the New Canaan Library, according to a notice from the library. The event, presented by the The Chamber of New Canaan, is $50 for Chamber members.

"Learn how to use LinkedIn the right way to help you achieve your goals," representatives wrote in the release. "You don’t want to miss this highly interactive and practical session. Plan to bring your laptop or tablet so you can work on your profile while you listen."

Attendees are asked to bring a laptop or tablet and arrive 15 minutes early to the presentation, according to the notice.

The New Canaan Library is located at 151 Main St. in New Canaan. To register for the event, residents are asked to contact Tucker Murphy at the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce at 203-966-2004 or by email at tucker@newcanaanchamber.com.
