Police have identified a man who was found shot to death in the driveway of a Connecticut home.

New Haven County resident Timothy Hughes, age 39, was found around 11:35 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 10, when police responded to shots fired complaint in Waterbury in the area of Southview Street.

Upon the officer’s arrival, Huges, of Waterbury, was located inside a vehicle in the driveway of the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, said Sgt. Robert Davis of the Waterbury Police.

 Medical assistance was administered by responding officers. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim via ambulance to St. Mary’s hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, Davis said.

The case is under investigation.
