Multiple Shots Fired: Police ID Waterbury Man Killed In Hail Of Bullets

Police have identified a Connecticut man who was shot multiple times and killed on a neighborhood street.

The incident took place in New Haven County around 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 25 in the area of 234 Circular Ave., in Waterbury.

The victim has been identified as Denroy Robinson, age 26, of Waterbury, said Lt. Ryan Bessette, of the Waterbury Police.

"Investigators believe this was an isolated incident which involved a disturbance between two individuals that were known to each other," Bessette said.

The incident escalated resulting in the suspect shooting Robinson multiple times, he added.

Bessette said Waterbury detectives are actively investigating this incident and working to identify the suspect.
