Bomb Threat Under Investigation At CT High School

A Connecticut high school was evacuated after a bomb threat was made targeting the building, authorities announced.

In New Haven County, a threat was made targeting the Hamden High School through a 911 call at around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, school officials said.

In response, the building was evacuated, with students and staff moved to a safe location.

The nature of the threat was not disclosed. Police and fire personnel are investigating the threat and canvassing the building as a precaution.

Parents have been advised not to go to the school to avoid interfering with the investigation.
