Son Charged With Killing His Mom In Knife Attack At Their CT Home

A son has been charged in connection to the knife assault that killed his mother in their Connecticut home Monday, Aug. 31.

Kevin Landry, 29, was arrested and charged with murder shortly after his mother, Barbara Landry, 60, died around 1 p.m., Windsor Locks Police said. He is being held on a $1.5 million bond.

On Monday police received a phone call from a man, allegedly Kevin Landry, who said he had just killed someone at 6 John St. in Windsor Locks, police said. When police entered the home they found Barbara Landry unresponsive and suffering from numerous stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

An investigation into the homicide is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police at (860) 627-1461.
