Beginning on Tuesday, March 3, a lane will be closed on the parkway at King Street in Rye Brook between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Those closures are expected to last daily until Friday, March 6 at the same times each day.

During the scope of the construction work, motorists in the area can expect delays and have been instructed to plan accordingly.

The New York State Department of Transportation noted that motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.  In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver's license.
