A convicted felon who was deported to his native Honduras has admitted to illegally reentering the country and taking shelter in Connecticut. Honduran national Javier Vasquez Martinez, who was last known to be living in Meriden, pleaded guilty in New Haven District Court to one count of reentry of a removed alien, John Durham, the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced this week. A Mexican national with a long rap sheet has pleaded guilty in Connecticut to illegally re-entering the country after being deported twice, violating the conditions of his supervised release for a prior conviction for the same offense. Jose Del Carmen Hernandez Hernandez, 41, has pleaded guilty to one count of illegally reentering the United States after being deported.
