Fairfield’s Aiden Blanc, 16, broadcast a game of ESPN’s Little League World Series, which drew nearly 300,000 views during its Kidscast, according to reports.

Blanc reportedly is pursuing a career in professional broadcasting and has been seeking opportunities such as appearing on ESPN’s national broadcast. Blanc will also spend the fall season calling games for the Trumbull football team.

Blanc, along with several Little League championship teams were celebrated by town officials in Fairfield this week at a ceremony at the Sherman Green Gazebo.

"Unbelievable week in Williamsport at the #llws calling the first ever Kids Cast," Blanc posted on Twitter. "So thankful for the opportunity to work with @EddieKalegi, @MoNeDavis ,@karlravechespn and the entire @espn crew. A few highlights from the night are (above)."
