The Greenwich school system and police department are in their third week of investigations into what happened to Palosz during his time in Greenwich schools. After his death, Palosz’s friends and family “came forward with stories of a young man mercilessly bullied by his peers,” CTPost.com reported.
The Greenwich Police Department has not released any details about the circumstances that may have contributed to his death, the report said.
Fifteen-year-old Palosz died of a self-inflicted shotgun wound on Aug. 28 after the first day of school, police said. The shotgun he used was owned by his family and was stored in a gun locker, police said.
An online profile discovered following Palosz’s death depicted a troubled teen who threatened suicide months before he took his own life.
