GREENWICH, Conn. -- Former New York Knicks basketball player Allan Houston listed his Armonk, N.Y. home for sale with Houlihan Lawrence for $19.9 million. The home sits on the Greenwich border, and Houston has been an active participant in town events.

The six-bedroom home has 19,387 square feet and 10.2 bathrooms. Agent Brian Milton of Houlihan Lawrence’s Armonk brokerage has the listing. Click here for complete details.

Houston, 44, played for the Knicks from 1996-2005. He started his career with the Detroit Pistons, and joined the Knicks after signing a whopping $100 million, six-year contract. Knee injuries cut short Houston’s career. His best year was in 2002-03, when he averaged 22.5 points. He also started all 82 games.

Houston is still employed by the Knicks as an assistant general manager. He is also the general manager for the Westchester Knicks, the NBA team’s development squad.

The swanky Armonk digs, which is next to the former home of actor Ron Howard, is in the gated Conyers Farms compound. The home has 26 rooms, five fireplaces and 10 marble baths.

Amenities include a basketball court -- of course -- along with a putting green, exercise room, water access, inground pool, sauna and home theater.

The master suite features French doors that open to a private terrace. There is also a sitting room with his/her walk-in custom closets and dressing rooms.

Houston hosted a fund-raiser for presidential candidate Barack Obama in 2007. A Wall Street Journal story said Houston intends to purchase another home in Greenwich closer to downtown.

Houston and his wife, Tamara, have seven children.
