A man is facing DUI charges after his involvement in a Greenwich crash, police say.

Greenwich Police say they responded to a motor vehicle accident on Round Hill Road on Saturday, June 15 around 11:30 p.m.

Further investigation revealed that a disabled vehicle was involved in an accident, and the driver, identified as Colin O’Toole, 34, of New Haven, was observed to have red eyes and an alcoholic odor, according to police.

O’Toole was also driving the vehicle with a suspended license, police say.

O’Toole was asked to participate in a series of field sobriety tests, which police say he did not pass.

O’Toole was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Operating under the influence
  • Failure to maintain lane
  • Driving with a suspended license

O’Toole was released after posting $250 bond and is scheduled to appear at Stamford Superior Court on Monday, June 24.
