Police Charge Wilton Woman With Arson In Greenwich Fire

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A 33-year-old Wilton woman is facing a first-degree arson charge after police say she intentionally set a fire last year at a former boyfriend's Greenwich apartment from which she had to be rescued, according to Greenwich Time.

Gina Clemente was charged with first-degree arson in the May 15 incident at 9 River Road. She's being held on $250,000 and due back in court April 18, Greenwich Time said.

Police conducted the investigation with the help of the town fire marshal and state police's K-9 unit, Greenwich Time reported.
