Larceny Suspect Caught In CVS Parking Lot After Police Search In Wilton

A larceny suspect has been caught in a CVS parking lot after a search in Wilton, police say.

Wilton Police say they received a call from a CVS employee stating that the man, described as wearing a blue hat, blue shirt, black pants and maroon sneakers, tried to steal 19 bottles of Tylenol and other painkillers on Thursday, June 13 around 5:30 p.m.

The caller stated that the suspect had left the store on foot and was last seen running behind Bank of America (117 Old Ridgefield Road), police say.

The suspect was located after approximately 40 minutes of searching, according to police. He was identified as Andrew Chavez Fearon, 20, of Brooklyn.

Fearon was arrested and charged with sixth-degree larceny and criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Fearon was also determined to have a PRAWN (Paperless Re-Arrest Warrant Network) out of Fairfield for second-degree failure to appear.

Fearon was held on a $1,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Friday, June 14.
