The burglary took place at the store on Greenwich Avenue at around 2:25 a.m. Thursday, Greenwich Time reported. Police responded after a burglar alarm went off, and discovered that the front door had been smashed and an interior door was also breached, according to Greenwich Time.
Police told Greenwich Time that there was some merchandise had been stolen, but a full inventory had not been completed. Police searched the area, using a K9 unit from the MTA police, but were unable to locate a suspect, Greenwich Time reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
