2021 Range Rover Latest Vehicle To Be Stolen In Fairfield County

Police in Fairfield County are once again calling on residents to lock their vehicle after the theft of another vehicle.

Thieves are stealing unlocked cars where keys were left inside overnight, according to New Canaan Police.

A 2021 Range Rover was reported stolen around 10:12 a.m., Wednesday, April 14 in New Canaan.

The owner of the vehicle left the keys in the vehicle and last saw it parked in the drive of the residence at 10 p.m.. on Tuesday, April 13, New Canaan Police Chief of Police Leon Krolikowski said.

The vehicle has not been recovered as of Wednesday afternoon.

Krolikowski is asking residents to remember to lock their vehicles and secure all valuables.

"Often, identity theft occurs when drivers’ licenses and credit cards are stolen," he added.
