20-Year-Old With Three Outstanding Warrants Nabbed In Route 1 Stop

A 20-year-old Bridgeport man with three active warrants out for his arrest is back in hot water with law enforcement after being busted in Connecticut driving without a license during a traffic stop.

Officers from the Milford Police Department stopped Ibrahim Adetona at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Boston Post Road near Orange Avenue in Milford on Monday, Jan. 7 for an equipment violation.

According to police, during the traffic stop, the investigation into Adetona found that he was operating an unregistered motor vehicle, with illegal license plates, without a license and without insurance.

Further investigation into Adetona determined that he had three active warrants out for his arrest for allegedly violating his court-set probation.

Adetona was arrested and charged with misuse of registration, no insurance, illegal operation of an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a license and three counts of violation of probation. He is being held in lieu of $45,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
