The fatal crash, which killed a 52-year-old, took place Tuesday, July 13, on Lake Avenue in Greenwich.

According to Slusarz, a 2013 Chevy Suburban was traveling north on Lake Avenue between Round Hill Road and Parsonage Road when it left the roadway and struck a stone wall and tree, said Greenwich PD Lt. John Slusarz.

The driver, a Greenwich resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver’s identification is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.

Greenwich Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact Officer Roger Drenth of the Department’s Traffic Section at 203-622–8014.
