The robbery occurred in New Haven County around 12:45 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 17, in Hamden at the Connex Credit Union, at 2100 Dixwell Ave.

Hamden police responded to the bank and learned the suspect, identified as Natalie Medor, age 36 of Hamden, had entered the credit union and passed a note to the bank teller demanding money, said Det. Sean Dolan, of the Hamden Police.

No weapons were displayed and no one was injured.

Medor fled with an undisclosed amount of money, Dolan said.

Det. Donald Remillard, along with detectives from the department’s Major Crimes Unit, quickly identified Medor as a suspect in the robbery, Dolan said.

After an extensive investigation, detectives located Medor later in the evening, he added.

Detectives also recovered additional evidence from the bank robbery, police said.

Medor was arrested and charged with robbery and larceny. She is being held on a $20,000 bond.
