Monroe resident Paul Lisi is demanding that Albert Magnus College in East Hartford refund his payments of approximately $11,000, alleging that his daughter - who now attends another school - was assaulted twice on campus.

The lawsuit alleges that during her freshman year, Lisi’s daughter was bullied by a group of students, which was reportedly relayed to the college’s residential life coordinator, though no measures were taken to stop the alleged bullying.

According to reports, in September 2017, Lisi’s daughter was in her dorm room with her roommate and a male student, who allegedly attacked her following an argument, pushing her into a dresser. Lisi’s daughter and her roommate were then able to force the third student out of their room.

Lisi is reportedly attempting to recoup his daughter’s room and board charges, but have been rebuffed. Officials at the college have declined to offer a comment about student matters or concerns.
