GREENWICH, Conn. -- Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Greenwich this week:
- A 55-year-old man was charged with criminal attempt at murder and held on $1 million bond after he bludgeoned his wife with a baseball bat on Tuesday in their Greenwich mansion, police said.
- A $2,000 reward was offered for information that leads to the arrest of a man wanted for robbing a pair of banks in Greenwich. The same suspect then hit two banks in Fairfield , police said.
- Police Sgt. Michael Reynolds retired from the Greenwich police force.
