The race will begin in front of the Old Greenwich Riverside Community Center on Harding Road at 8 a.m. The USATF certified 5K course travels through scenic residential areas of Old Greenwich.
In addition to the race, the event will feature a Health Expo located at the community center where runners and walkers as well as their families will be able to learn more about nutrition, training, injury prevention and running equipment.
Registration for the race is $40 for adults, $25 for students and $15 for children 8 to 11 years old. There is no charge for runners under the age of 7.
The ONS Foundation for Clinical Research and Education works to develop, validate, formalize and disseminate the latest advances in surgical techniques, rehabilitation protocols and clinical outcomes in orthopedics and neurosurgery to improve patient care on regional and national levels.
