GREENWICH, Conn. -- Take a winter nature walk with Greenwich Land Trust stewardship staff through one of the Land Trust's forest preserves on Tuesday, March 3, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Participants will learn what wildlife does to survive during the winter and how to identify trees without their leaves.
A maple tapping and syrup boiling demonstration will also be held.
Cost of the event is $25 non-members, $15 members. Children under 12 are free.
Participants will receive their own spile, a spout used in taking sap from a tree, courtesy of Tap My Trees
