GREENWICH, Conn. – Tired of cooking even though the holidays are just getting started? No worries. A new boutique-style catering company in Greenwich offering imaginative menus and a comprehensive range of party options is ready to serve -- just in time for the seasonal rush.

Granit Events & Catering is the culmination of a lifelong dream realized by Granit Balidemaj, a Greenwich resident who grew up chopping, slicing and dicing at his family's Port Chester, N.Y., restaurant, Alba's.

His full-service event and catering company is designed to handle all kinds of celebrations, from big to small and everything in between, all with an eye toward sourcing regional and sustainable ingredients. (Even his plates, cups and flatware are plant-based and compostable.)

To set his business apart, Balidemaj is offering a drop-off service for the busiest of clients, providing breakfast, lunch or buffet menus for lunches, board meetings, or impromptu social gatherings.

Among his signature menu items: Buffalo Chicken Sliders, Watermelon and Goat Cheese Skewers, Organic Roasted Chicken and a delectable Cranberry Crumble.

“I am thrilled to be launching this new venture and look forward to helping create beautiful memories for my customers and sharing my love of food with the Fairfield County community," Said Balidemaj.

Granit Events & Catering is located at 500 W. Putnam Ave., Suite 400. Call 203- 542-7361 or visit for more information.
