GREENWICH, Conn. – As Becker Salon enters its seventh year in Greenwich, it will be relocating in October, from Mason Street to the second floor of 380 Greenwich Ave.
The new space is more than 2,700 square feet, twice the size of the previous location.
With the added space will come a number of new services. Not only will the salon continue with cutting, coloring and styling, but it will also offer manicures, pedicures, makeup, eyelash extensions, waxing and Botox. There will be eight styling chairs, four color stations, a private VIP room, a weddings and events services department and a retail section, with a wide variety of products.
“It’s been a dream come true for us to move to Greenwich Avenue,” owner Becker Chicaiza said. “We are excited to finally offer a full range of beauty services conveniently under one roof and satisfy what our clients have been requesting over the years – one-stop shopping.”
Chicaiza decided on a cosmopolitan décor, and hired Paul Guzzetta of iH Design Studio to complete the design. He and his staff will likewise keep up with modern trends and techniques. Becker has participated in Fashion Week in New York City for quite some time now, as he styled the hair of many of runway models who work for top designers.
Locally, Becker Salon has introduced styles like Balayage, French highlighting, L’Oreal Professionnel’s INOA (Innovation No Ammonia) product. The salon takes part in Fashion’s Night Out with Saks in September on Greenwich Avenue. It also contributes to several local charities, like the Breast Cancer Alliance, the Junior League, Kids in Crisis, the YWCA and others.
The Becker Salon Leadership Award was implemented last year to honor the work of nonprofit organization leaders in Fairfield and Westchester counties.
