Clouds will increase overnight into Saturday morning with a low around 3 degrees.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind-chill advisory from noon Friday through 10 a.m. Saturday across the area. Despite the clear, sunny skies, wind chills will linger between 10- and 20-below-zero during the day.
Clouds will move in overnight with a low of about 5 degrees.
Snow is likely on Saturday, mainly after 5 p.m., with a high near 30 degrees.
Precipitation will continue through Saturday night and into Sunday, with snow and freezing rain changing over to all rain later Sun day when temperatures rise above freezing. High temperatures on Sunday will be near 40 degrees.
Total snow accumulation could be as much as 4 inches by the end of the weekend.
Cold will return on Monday with high temperatures of about 23 degrees.
