Fatal Hit-Run Crash: 65-Year-Old CT Woman ID'd As Victim
A suspect is at large after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run Connecticut crash overnight. It happened just after midnight on Sunday, Feb. 4 in Tolland County in the town of Hebron. A 2015 Kia Soul was traveling eastbound on Kinney Road when it entered the intersection to make a left turn onto Millstream Road, Connecticut State Police said. Fairfield County Man Killed In I-91 Crash, State Police Say
A Fairfield County man was killed in a crash on I-91 south after hitting the rear of a commercial vehicle and losing control, authorities said. Jeremy Bischoff, age 34, of Shelton, was killed early Monday, June 27 in New Haven County in Wallingford. Bischoff was driving a 2016 Kia Soul in the center lane on I-91 southbound around 2 a.m. when he hit the back of a commercial vehicle and lost control, said the Connecticut State Police. Kia Issues Recall For 400,000-Plus Vehicles
Hundreds of thousands of Kia vehicles are being recalled due to a defect that could cause airbags not to deploy during a potential crash. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that Kia is recalling more than 410,000 vehicles in the US because the airbags could fail to inflate after the issue was first found overseas.
