Fairfield Prep Football Star Commits to Stonehill

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield Prep’s Serge Jean-Baptiste, a resident of Norwalk, signed a national letter of intent to play football at Stonehill College in Massachusetts.

Jean-Baptiste has been a three-year starter as an offensive and defensive lineman. In his sophomore year, he played defensive tackle and was chosen as the team’s Most Improved Player. As a junior, he continued to play defense and led his team in tackles for loss and quarterback sacks. He was Prep’s co-captain last fall.

Jean-Baptiste switched to offensive guard last season and earned first team Class LL All-State honors. He was also a first-team choice in the Southern Connecticut Conference.

The Fairfield Prep senior has been a member of the S.E.E.D. Diversity Club and volunteered at the Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield.
