Fairfield Ludlowe Players Perform 'Oliver' This Weekend

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield Ludlowe High School’s Drama Club will present “Oliver” as it spring musical this weekend.

Grant Clark will play the title character in the musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens novel “Oliver Twist.” Other stars include Will Powers as Fagin, James Purcell as Mr. Bumble, Kaitlyn Carruthers as the Widow Corney, Matt Clyne, Brigitte Dale and Katie Lamontagne as Mr. and Mrs. Sowerberry and their daughter Charlotte, Jeff Dutter as Noah Claypole, Jared Bovine as the Artful Dodger, Katie Middleton as Nancy, Tim Dutter as Bill Sykes, Madeline Tommins as Bet, Dylan Lanham as Mr. Brownlow Lilly Boyd as Mrs. Bedwin and Matthew Peters as Dr. Grimwig.

Working behind the scenes will be Artistic Director Frances R. Kondziela; Music Director Kevin Cotellese; Scenic Designer and Director Roger Mudre; Choreographer Simone DePaolo; Costume Designer Sonia Otharsson; Lighting Designer Matt Pagliaro; Conductor Nick Albano; Sound Designer Sam Eckhardt; Assistant to the Director Lizzie Revay; Stage Crew Leader Rachel Wolfeiler; Stage Crew Assistant  Katie Nerod; Student Choreographers: Brigitte Dale, Melissa Purdy andMadeleine Tommins;  Costume Crew Leader Kelsi Franzino, Lighting Supervisors: John Cogan and CalderMcCay, Props Crew Supervisors Caroline Naspo and Monica Susic; Photographer Susanna Casey; Make up Crew Leader Sofia Bonin, Make up Crew Member Noel Paris, House Manager Kember Vanderblue and Usher Caroline Lawlor.

Performances are scheduled for May 3 at 8 p.m. and May 4 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the auditorium of Fairfield Ludlowe, 785 Unquowa Road. Tickets are $8 at the door.
