Office leader Walter Hibbs leads an office that features 67 agents, and includes a luxury division that showcases some of the region’s most exclusive properties. Besides Fairfield, the office works with clients in Westport, Easton, Redding, Monroe, Trumbull, Black Rock, Stratford and Milford.

The range of prices includes condos for under $100,000 to homes in the millions. What’s more, Berkshire Hathaway offers mortgage and insurance services, and an assortment of agents with a wide range of experience and skills, including relocation.

“There’s a real family feeling to the office,’’ Hibbs said. “Everyone is very supportive and everyone is willing to help.”

Berkshire Hathaway’s wide assortment of properties might be its most distinguishing characteristic. In January, a home at 450 Flintlock Road sold for $1.2 million. It also sold in January a three-bedroom Bridgeport condo for $195,000. In between were a variety of homes in price ranges, bedrooms, towns and styles.

“We can handle every price range and have a very broad territory,’’ Hibbs said. “We have expertise in every facet of residential real estate. We can service all of our clients no matter what the price range or neighborhood.”

Berkshire Hathaway’s team is led by Hibbs, a long-time Fairfield resident who has more than 40 years of experience. Hibbs started out in Fairfield working with his father-in-law at Dunlap Real Estate. It later became Dunlap-Hibbs Real Estate, which merged with Prudential in 2008. Berkshire Hathaway acquired Prudential in 2013.

A Luxury Collection division led by Melanie Smith moved late last year from Southport into the Berkshire Hathaway office in Fairfield, where Smith has her own sophisticated office space and more support staff to serve high-end clients.

Connecticut Home Mortgage has an office based at the Berkshire Hathaway office at 1583 Post Road in Fairfield. Insurance is also available through Connecticut Insurance Services.

“This is an exciting time in real estate,’’ Hibbs said. “Being part of Berkshire Hathaway gives us the resources we need to work with clients everywhere. Real estate in Fairfield and surrounding areas was a hot commodity in 2015, and we expect it to be so again in 2016. Homeowners who are thinking of making a move should consider preparing their house for sale as quickly as possible. We expect a very strong spring market.”
