Thief Makes Off With $1,300 In Items From Garage Of Fairfield Home

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — An Edgewood Place homeowner who said she was unable to lock her detached garage reported $1,300 in belongings stolen from the building sometime last week, police said.

The woman said that sometime between May 1 and 5, someone stole two bikes, valued at $300 each, as well as a Makita grinder and leaf blower, a Stihl chainsaw, heat guns and power drills, valued at $700 total, police said.
