A pickup truck slammed into a telephone pole in Monroe, sending the vehicle careening into a house.
The incident took place around 2:45 a.m., Friday, Sept. 20, on Wheeler Road, said the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department.
Arriving first responders found a pickup truck which left the roadway, severed a telephone pole and struck a local residence, the department said.
There were no reported injuries, officials said.
Eversource reported there were 16 power outages in the area. Crews are making repairs.
Motorists should expect delays in the area of Wheeler Road near Pamela Drive.
Firefighters checked for various hazards and structural damage and cleared the scene.
