A Milford man was arrested after he allegedly refused to pay for his lunch and attempted to hit a restaurant employee.

Joseph Skehan, 31, of 8 Peak Ave., was arrested around 1:45 p.m. Saturday, March 2, when Milford Police were called to Archie Moore's restaurant when he reportedly refused to pay for his lunch and was asked to leave when the restaurant closed for the day, said the Milford Police.

When police arrived at the restaurant at 15 Factory Lane, employees said Skehan also tried to hit one of them when he was asked to pay his bill and leave.

Police charged Skehan with breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in Milford Superior Court on March 26.
