Long Island Man, 25, Fatally Shot In Broad Daylight

Police are searching for a suspect after a 25-year-old Long Island man was shot and killed in broad daylight.

It happened around 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 in Copiague.

First Precinct officers responded to 70 Court Street at approximately 3:50 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot, Suffolk County Police said.

When officers arrived, they found Jewuel Hanson, of Lindenhurst, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

The investigation is continuing.
