Five Teens At Large After Assaulting, Robbing, Carjacking Pizza Deliveryman

Police in Connecticut are attempting to track down a group of teenagers who allegedly robbed a pizza deliveryman, stole his car and beat him up.

Officials said that shortly after midnight, officers were dispatched to Ford Street in New Haven after a deliveryman reported that he had been assaulted by several teens.

Police said that the man approached two girls he delivering the pizza to, which they took and ran off with without paying.

While interacting with the two girls, three boys who were with them jumped into the car and reportedly held a gun to his neck. They then took the car. Police said the car was traced back to a nearby roadway, where it was ultimately recovered.

Police described the two girls as African-American with a thin build, both wearing dark clothes. Each of the alleged male suspects was described as African-American. Two were wearing white shirts and the third was in a yellow shirt. Each was described as a teenager.
