A Fairfield County woman has been arrested for allegedly violating a protective order and chasing the victim in order to get into a physical altercation.
Christina Kovachev, age 43, of Darien, was arrested on Sunday, Jan. 24, by Darien Police after responding to a home for a report of a domestic disturbance.
Responding officers spoke with the victim who told them they had been chased around the house by a second party, later identified as Kovachev, said Darien PD Sgt. James Palmieri.
The victim said Kovachev was intoxicated and she and the victim began to argue. At some point, Kovachev kicked a glass pane out of a nearby door, breaking it, Palmieri said.
She then chased the victim around the house in an aggressive manner, attempting to start a physical altercation.
Police found there was an active protective order preventing Kovachev from harassing, threatening, or assaulting the victim.
Kovachev was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order.
She was released on a $25,000 bond,
