On Friday, a Grace Street resident reported he lost a handicapped placard, his Universal Life clergy ID and some change after he left his car unlocked outside his home for six days.
An Osborne Lane man realized someone had rummaged through his car last week when he started receiving alerts that his credit cards were being used in a Waterbury mall.
Sometime between Nov. 29 and 30, someone stole five credit cards from his car, raking up hundreds in charges at Macy’s, Finish Line and other stores, he told police.
A Berwick Avenue woman reported $843 in camera equipment and a wireless adapter stolen from her unlocked car between Nov. 28 and 29.
Police urge residents to bring valuables inside and to lock their vehicle doors wherever they park.
