Body Riddled With Bullet Wounds Found On CT Playground, Police Say

Police are investigating after the body of a man riddled with bullet wounds was found on the property of a Connecticut playground.

The body was discovered around 6 a.m., Tuesday, June 8, in New Haven County on the property of Pease Road Playground in Woodbridge and is being investigated as a homicide, said the Woodbridge Police Department. 

Police responded to the playground after a jogger reported finding the body near the athletic field located at 160 Peace Road.

Investigators found the remains of a male with gunshot wounds. 

Police said there was no immediate to the community.

The victim has not been identified.
