A Ridgefield man was arrested for allegedly attacking his mother with a baseball bat during a domestic incident.
The incident took place around 11:43 a.m., Friday, Nov. 15, at a home on Peaceable Street, said Ridgefield Police Capt. Shawn Platt
When officers responded they found the victim in need of medical attention, Platt said.
She was assisted by officers and Ridgefield Fire Department staff before being transported to the Danbury Hospital for treatment, police said.
Colin Donnelly, 21, was arrested and charged with assault, Platt said.
He is being held on $250,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Nov. 18.
