At around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 in Wilton, administrators at Middlebrook Middle School in Wilton received the report from a staff member, who believed he had overheard a student stating his brother had a weapon in his vehicle.  At that time, the location of the vehicle was unknown, and there was no indication it would be on school property. The fire occurred in New Canaan on White Shade Oak Lane around 11:40 p.m., Monday, April 8.
