Neighborhood Scout has released a list of the 100 most dangerous cities in the country, and a Connecticut city has taken the number 58 spot.
The list took all cities with 25,000 people or more into account and ranked them based on the number of violent crimes per 1,000 residents. Violent crimes include armed robbery, murder, rape and aggravated assault.
Bessemer, Alabama ranked as America’s most dangerous city. At the number 58 spot is Connecticut’s capital city of Hartford.
According to the analysis, Hartford has a violent crime rate of 10.9, with a one in 92 chance of being a victim.
