The FTC Outdoor Festival includes vendors, free film screenings, filmmakers, food trucks, beer, giveaways and live music from local artists Joe Valero and Amber Anchor featuring Dan Tressler and Jeff Smith.
The festival will be followed by the feature presentation, “Mountainfilm on Tour,” which will be screened in FTC’s new state of the art venue, The Warehouse, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
For over 30 years, the Telluride Film Festival has attracted filmmakers, photographers, conservationists, mountaineers and explorers from around the world who support their communal motto“Celebrating Indomitable Spirit.” Each year, following the festival, the organization selects a plethora of films to screen around the country, and hits the road reaching new audiences who don’t have the opportunity to experience the festival in person. Audiences are taken on an extreme exploration from the highest mountain to the deepest cave, cultures and environment.
Natalie Jones, the standup comic turned radio D.J. for Tellurides' KOTO FM will be on hand to emcee the event throughout the day.
The festival is free. Tickets for the main presentation are $15 in advance and $12 for students and members. Purchase tickets by calling the Faifield Theatre Company box office at (203) 259-1036 or buy online here.
The Warehouse is located at 70 Sanford St., Fairfield.
