Sticker Mule founder Anthony Constantino, an Upstate New York businessman and former Congressional candidate, unveiled the gift to Trump that’s now turning heads at Trump International Golf Club in Florida.
The statue is mounted on a stone pedestal, permanently inscribed with Constantino’s name. It's now placed between the course’s clubhouse and the first hole, in clear view of every golfer and guest who visits.
“The President was in a happy, joking mood which was great to see,” said Constantino, who also holds membership of Trump’s exclusive Mar-a-Lago club.
The moment marked the start of Trump’s Saturday morning round of golf. Joining the pair were controversial political figure Roger Stone, who Constantino described as a close advisor and friend, and Bo Loudon, a friend of Trump’s son, Barron
Constantino noted that the statue's unveiling caught the attention of an unlikely admirer.
“I was shocked to be stopped by the CEO of one of my competitors, who loved the monument, and was golfing while I unveiled it. I won’t say who to protect them from the far left hate I’ve had to deal with,” he said.
