A missing dog has been reunited with its owner after turning itself in to police on Tuesday, Feb. 4, after a week on the run.

Comet, the golden retriever, showed up at the Waterford Police Department Tuesday morning with a few injuries after her brief week on the run. Police officers and employees lavished it with attention until the owners showed up to collect their wayward best friend.

Welcome home, girl.

Police didn't say how serious her injuries were.
