Rabid Bobcat Attacks Two People, Dog In Quiet CT Neighborhood A rabid bobcat was killed in Connecticut after attacking a family and their pet, officials said. Southbury Animal Control said that on Monday, Jan. 4, a bobcat attacked a dog and her two owners in the Purchase area, prompting one of the owners to kill it before it could do damage to the pet. One of the owners was able to slam the bobcat to the ground before beating it with a fireplace log, according to reports.
