Darien Schools Closed Tuesday Due To Coming Storm

DARIEN, Conn. -- Schools in Darien were closed Tuesday in anticipation of the winter storm expected to arrive in the area.

Western Connecticut State University in Danbury was also closed, delaying final exams until Wednesday. (Read more about its schedule for Tuesday here.)

Snow was expected to begin by about 7 a.m., affecting the morning rush hour across the region, with 2 to 4 inches predicted to fall. Connecticut, the Hudson Valley and the New York City region were under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
