The majority of the cuts will come from employee benefit packages and decreasing energy prices, the Darien Times noted.
Spending cuts are expected to be about $2 million, reported the Darien Times.
The proposed budget now goes before the Board of Finance and a public meeting on March 8, with a final vote expected in May, the Darien Times said.
