DARIEN, Conn. -- DARIEN, Conn. -- A Stamford man facing multiple charges for a series of car burglaries in August has now been arrested for additional crimes, according to Darien police.
On Aug. 19, Joel Mackinnon, 48, was arrested by Darien officers after it was determined he burglarized numerous vehicles in the Noroton Heights section of town, Darien police said.
During that investigation, it was determined he also was responsible for committing six additional car burglaries Aug. 13, officials said.
Mackinnon, who had remained incarcerated since his original arrest, was transported Wednesday to Stamford Superior Court and charged with fourth-degree larceny and six counts of third-degree burglary, according to police.
