Police are asking for help from the public with identifying a man who is allegedly responsible for an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday, Dec. 4 just after 7 p.m. in Bridgeport.
The robbery occurred at the People’s Bank located within the Stop & Shop at 4531 Main St. The subject is said to be a white man around 40 years old. He has ‘salt and pepper’ facial hair, as depicted in the photo above.
Investigators believe that the man was also responsible for a separate armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, Dec. 1 in Waterbury at a People’s Bank inside a Stop and Shop at 240 Chase Avenue in Woodbury.
The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association will be offering a $1,000 prize for any information that leads to the arrest of the subject wanted for both robberies.
