The man reported the theft on the afternoon of Friday, May 16, police said.

He told police that three iPods, a GPS and a milk crate full of CDs had been stolen out of his living room. He had last seen the items the night before and had left the house between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., according to police.

The man lives alone, and has not had any workers in the house, police said. He believes that somebody may have come in through an unlocked back door while he was gone.

Two of the iPods are valued at $200 each, and one was valued at $300. The GPS is valued at $600. The milk crate contained 70 CDs.
