Take A Nature Walk, Watch Birds, Hunt For leaves At Darien Bird Sanctuary

DARIEN, Conn. -- Take a nature walk at the Darien Community Association's bird sanctuary at 10 a.m. Friday.

At the Darien Community Association "Mom’s Morning In" program, participants will take a nature walk through the association's bird sanctuary April 22.

Watch the birds at the feeders, play on the “stump walk” and hunt for leaves and acorns. Also, watch the bees coming in and out of their hive from a safe distance. 

The association’s "Mom’s Morning In" program is designed for parents, caregivers and grandparents with energetic toddlers/preschoolers. The sanctuary is child-friendly (fenced in).

Reservations are not required. Fees are $10 per child per activity.

For the 2015-16 school year, Darien Community Association activities are once a month and always features a performance or activity.The full calendar can be found on the association's website by clicking here.
